Taskbar Portal Sites

This site puts a small portal in your taskbar, containing over 2500 links in various categories. The portal concentrates on providing links to news and information sites.

The portal is rendered through a java applet and displays like a pop-up context menu, giving easy access to all the links, but only taking up 80 pixels of space in the taskbar when open.

Because of the amount of information contained in the portal button it may take anything up to 30 seconds to display, depending on your connection speed.
